Brick Township measures 32.3 square miles and is located in the northern portion of Ocean County.  The largest bordering municipalities include Toms River and Lakewood.  There are numerous communities within Brick Township, including several adult communities. The majority of Brick is on the mainland, but there is a small portion that is on the water.

There are many different shopping and dining options in Brick, from chain stores, department stores, and chain restaurants to smaller "mom and pop" shops.  The health care industry is responsible for a large amount of employment in the township and in the summer, tourism is a major part of its economy.

Brick Public Schools include 1 buliding for Pre-K and K, 4 buildings for grades 1-5, 2 middle schools for grades 6-8 and then 2 high schoold for grades 9-12/  There are also a couple private schools and several private preschools within the township.

Many recreational opportunities are in Brick, including parks, rivers, lakes, and playgrounds.

Brick offers several activities and events during the year, especially Summer Fest, which includes concerts, drive-in movies, car shows.
